Have you thought about this? I haven’t. Not until I was visiting one of my new favorite blogs and came across this topic http://www.frugalvillage.net/2007/01/22/creating-a-garden-journal/trackback/
This is a great idea I hadn’t even thought about. I just moved into a new home in December. We have a nice big yard with an area I have plans for a garden (vegetable, flower, herbs). This is going to take years to make it into my “dream garden”.
A journal to track my progress through each year, will not only be an organizational/reference tool but a keepsake to look back on.
Ok, I am off to decide on what to use as my journal. Hey- maybe I’ll put some of my scrapbooking supplies to use on this project

It seems planning the menu, cutting the coupons, doing the grocery shopping and then the cooking is getting to be a bit much lately.
Then top that off with a 12 yr old who won’t even considering eating anything but the favorites and 5 yr old who barely eats anything on his plate. I get the most satisfaction out of my 3 yr old who eats enough for both of them put together.
I am so tired of trying to come up with new ideas and hope we all will eat it.
Unless you are sitting pretty with a heap of recipes that your whole family loves in front of you, you most likely are suffering from the same cooking blues as me.
I just got my sample menu from Dine Without Wine . So this is what everyone is raving about, just $4.95 per month subscription to have someone else sit and think up all the family friendly recipes and the shopping list!
I cannot get there fast enough to sign up for the service
