Welcome back!

You should know by now that I am all about lemons.
I LOVE THEM!
So I am going to create this new category “Lemony Snippets” which will be tips and tidbits about lemons and their many uses.
Today’s snippet is about using lemon juice to naturally whiten your white laundry without using harmful chlorine bleach.
Add one half cup of lemon juice to the rinse cycle of your white load.
Natural fiber clothing such as cotton, love the sun and hanging them out on a clothesline to dry is also to their benefit. Storing whites in the dark causes yellowing.

Get’s what?
Prizes, that is what!!!
I briefly mentioned a new sweepstakes/contest site www.whogets.com in a previous post, where you can win a prize just by entering and writing why you think you should win it. It is rather fun once you choose which prizes you want to win and actually start writing your why.
There 2 stages of the contests.
1. semi-finals , this is the time one can enter the contest
2. finals, this is the point where the finalist have already been chosen and people can vote for who they think should win the prize.
On www.whogets.com you don’t have to try and win but you have to register if you want to be able to vote for people. I like to read the reasons the contestants want to win a particular prize, it is interesting. Some write really lame reasons, but others can be funny or heartfelt.
About the prizes…. WOW, there are some really nice brand name items being donated by stores. I have entered a few but haven’t made it to the finals yet, but I’ll be sure to let you know when I do so you can go vote for me. I am determined to win an Ipod! lol
So go check it out now www.whogets.com my username is lemondrop, in case you see it pop up on a final contest. What do you have to lose? It’s no cost to you.
