Welcome back!
My cool and ultra-talented friend Marianna tagged me to write” 7 things you don’t know about me “. Good grief, you don’t know them for a reason! lol
1. I am a crunching, munching pretzel addict. Although I am a natural and healthy eating advocate, this pretzel thing has control of me. Meijer store brand mini twists are my favorite. Did you know there is major taste and texture difference in pretzel brands. Maybe I should call myself a Pretzel Connessiur.
2. I am a Purple Freak. I cannot get enough of the color, it just makes me happy to look at
3. I have been married 3 times, no explanation available.
4. I used to be real skinny I weighed 89 when I graduated from high school. I am now fat and weighing the same as I was at 9 months pregnant. Hmmm maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned the pretzels
5. When I was a kid I wanted to be a coroner when I grew up. ewwwww
6. My birthday is on Valentines Day ( does this make me a sweetheart?)
7. I used to be a Medical Assistant and worked for a gynecologist drawing blood and giving shots and yes I have seen way too many female parts.

Before I share the Pillows of Lavender giveaway info I just have to tell you that I am having my very first cup of Chai tea and I am loving it. I usually drink green or peppermint tea in the evening after dinner but I was a bit chilled this afternoon and I was anxious to try it. I almost want to simmer a few bags on the stove just to fill my home with the exotic aroma.
So what is warm and cozy, on sale and the giveaway this month?

My Lavender Wraps can be used to aid in the relief of many ailments such as tension, headaches, back and neck pain or simply for warmth and comfort. I think I use mine to get warm and cozy more than anything! I’ll have one on my lap or on my feet most of the winter.

Not a full blown bawl or anything like that, but I held back some tears as I was leaving the building. It was an emotional moment for me (I am one of those people who cry when someone gets a makeover or wins something).
Why cry?
I really felt like I did something for the greater good. It was my very first time voting in an election. I am 42 years old and have NEVER voted until this year. I never registered to vote all these years.
Why had I never voted?
I never understood politics and didn’t know much about the candidates. As much as I hate to admit it now I was one of those who thought my vote didn’t really matter
SHAME ON ME!
I never blog about personal or controversial subjects and I am not going to start now, but I am so darn PROUD of myself for taking my right to vote and using it today that I had to share it with you.
I care about my family’s future, our country, our home, our finances, our resources, our freedom…. I VOTED TODAY! sniff sniff
Someone tweeted this today
“Bad politicians are sent to Washington by good people who don’t vote.”
