Lemons to Lemonade

Welcome back!

It is my favorite social network.   I am not addicted but I do check in several times per day.  I mix my business with my friendships, something many people choose not to do.  I share links, photos and post about my business to my friends and I think it is great.  I post photos of my family and share some personal tidbits with my business connections .  I think that it is important for them to know that I am a real person, a mom with a business and I am not going to hide that. Don’t get me wrong,  if I want to talk trash I don’t post it on the wall I send it in a message.  lol
Plus FB has a feature that you can control who sees what on your profile

When I started on Facebook it was strictly for networking my business and I kept myspace for personal and fun, but then many old friends from school started showing up.  Then my family got on facebook and next thing you know I am looking up people I haven’t seen in a long time .  Reconnecting with people from my past has been cool.  Thank you modern technology!

Starting today Facebook now gives you the opportunity to have a  username url to promote your profile.  Many Fb’ers were waiting for the clock this morning to be able to grab their username before someone else got it, not me I didn’t remember until I logged on today.  Lucky for me the other Robin Lemon didn’t snag my name ( yes, there is another Robin Lemon doing business online she is a realtor).
