Jenny Herman is a fellow MBN Meetup Member and friend of mine .  Jenny recently invited me to post as Wednesday’s Woman, a new category on her  Many Hats Mommy blog .  That inspired me to revive the “Who’s Featured Friday” category here on my blog.  Thank you Jenny for the spark !

Wow, I feel honored to be featured on Robin’s blog! My name is Jenny Herman, and I wear many hats, as do most of us. I am a Christian, a wife, a mommy to two sweet boys (2 and 4), an autism researcher, a chef, a musician, a writer, a reader, a jewelry lady, and more!

This month marks my four-year anniversary with the number one jewelry company in the Direct Selling Association, Premier Designs. This debt-free company was founded 25 years ago on the biblical principles of integrity and serving others.   All of Premier’s jewelry is made in the United States.  You can read more about Premier in this article about when Joan and Andy were inducted into the DSA Hall of Fame.

I love my job, and I can’t imagine my life without it! As a jewelry lady, I get to teach women ways to save money on their wardrobe by accessorizing. I give away lots of free jewelry because our host program is amazing! Finally, I get to help other women start successful businesses. My latest endeavor is using my business to help others through fundraising. I am currently doing some shows to benefit Relay for Life, and I’m doing my own Autism Awareness month campaign.

Haven Maven aka Amber McLeod is my featured WAHM this very snowy first day of February 2008.

I was anxious to Feature Amber because I recently hired her for more design work and it just reinforced how well I like to do business with her. It is not enough for me to say how down to earth, friendly and very talented she is. I don’t freak out when I need design services, I know I’ll get great results when Amber is doing the work.

I have worked with a few designers since starting my first website in 2003 and I have had good experiences, so-so experiences and terrible experiences with designers. Some of the not so great experiences include having to basically tell the designer step by step what to do just because I don’t have the artistic abilities, the software programs nor the desire to do the work myself…outsourcing baby;)

When I find a good designer like Amber I can give her my basic idea and she turns it into something great or I let her use her own vision and ideas because she has never failed me yet and guess what?

Stargirl, aka Marianna of Stargirl Jewelry and Lampwork Glass Beads

Marianna is a fun, friendly and very talented work at home mom that I have gotten to know in person. Marianna is a fellow member of my local Moms in Business networking group and I am delighted to be working with her in other projects as well.

If you haven’t heard of lampwork glass beads you can read all about it and see some of her designs when you visit her site. I don’t know how she manages to use all that scary fire and equipment to produce such beautiful work all while keeping a toddler out of trouble.
