Welcome back!

Twitter- a micro blogging type of social network where one can tweet to friends and followers throughout the day sending updates, like what you are doing at the moment. There are a lot of us moms who incorporate their businesses into twittering by posting our most recent blog posts or announcements about our businesses. Your promotions can spread like wildflowers when one of your followers posts something about or @ you and then all of their followers see it. It is actually pretty viral.

I use a third party client called twhirl which allows me to twitter from my desktop and I love it, it dings and sends a little pop up to my screen so I can decide if there is something I wanna jump in on. If I have a busy day and don’t want to be distracted I just don’t open it. We all know how we can get sucked into forums and other social networks and waste a whole lot of valuable time but I have received positive results from networking on Twitter so I just limit myself to how much time I spend with twittering.

I get new followers everyday and I don’t know who they are or where they come from, but I do pick and choose who I want to follow. If you already twitter or you are going to start soon be sure to follow me and I’ll follow you, unless of course you are some sort of weirdo stalking me online or if your tweets are super boring than I’ll un-follow you!
