Inquiring minds want to know
Welcome back!
about my new and exciting business venture that I have been mentioning recently. Since I am here visiting my long lost blog, I suppose now is a good time to blab about it.
You see I have always had this goal to open my own little local shop. I am a true entrepreneur. I love to create, market and sell items and not just my own , I have always had this passion for promoting others, especially moms. I would daydream about my shop any chance I could. Then I became close friends with Marianna, one of the moms I network with locally.
Marianna and I began to work together on several projects and soon we were daydreaming about “our boutique shop” out loud together. We started brainstorming a plan on how we could work towards bringing our ideas to life, but we knew it would take time and money before we would be able to act on this.
This is the craziest part…
Two weeks ago we were given an opportunity to open a shop. We were hesitant at first because the location was not where we had been planning and we did not have all the fine details in place yet.
Could we?
Should we?
OF COURSE we can and we will! 
We hit the ground running and it’s been a whirlwind of crazy, busy-ness ever since!
We plan on opening in April 2009.
We are seeking artisans looking to consign their items in our boutique as well as instructors for our craft workshops. We’ll be offering sewing, quilting, jewelry making techniques, soap making, scrapbooking and pottery etc…
It’s funny that this is the year my youngest went to school full days, exactly when I imagined I would do this. So, my daydreaming is no longer a dream and I am totally geeked !
Not only can I work in my shop, I can continue to build my business , my other websites, blogs and networks, I can get crafty while I am at it.
